Icon of Saint Spyridon of Trimphund

Image in Byzantine style. Saint Spyridon is depicted in the imperial clothes. This image is unusual the absence of a customary shepherd's cap on the head of the saint. For the icon is characteristic that it is in the manner of writing as close as possible to the fresco. This can be traced in the minimum amount of color. Unusually, the view is diverted to the side, which does not interfere with the interaction with the viewer who feels the blessing on him. The manner of writing the icon emphasizes the austerity of the image as a whole.
